Tee 2 Green was founded in 2014, is comprised of members of integrity with compassion for the game of golf. The Club’s mission is to promote the game of golf with fellowship, competition and recognition through participation, communication and events. The purpose of the Tee 2 Green is to foster, promote and conserve the true spirit and the best interest in the game of golf, as embodied in its ancient and honorable traditions.We feature quality, professionalism with an eye on financial restraint, as foundations to guide us in promoting the club without losing focus on the need to have fun.

 

Objective

Tee 2 Green Golf Club was organized to bring together individuals with a common desire to play golf in both a competitive and organized manner.

Mission

The mission of Tee 2 Green Golf Club is to FIRST: To stimulate interest in golf in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area by bringing together a group of golfers desirous of forming a golfing organization.  SECOND: To promote and foster among the members a closer bond and fraternity for their joint and mutual benefit, and to promote and conserve the best interests and true spirit of the game of golf as embodied in its ancient and honorable traditions.  THIRD: To encourage conformance to a modified USGA Rules of Golf by creating a representative authority. FOURTH: To maintain a uniform system of handicapping as set forth in the USGA Handicap System and issue USGA Handicap Indexes to the members.  FIFTH: To provide an authoritative body to govern and conduct club competitions.

 

Our mission statement, "To provide opportunity for individuals to play golf and to have fun while engaging in a quality experience" is the club's guiding principle.
